Reinventing Supermom: Encouragement, support, and strategies for new mothers who feel lost

Reinventing supermom is a guide towards maternal mental wellness for every new mom. Through a collection of short chapters, Kate brings humor, science, accessibility, and validation to new moms as they embark on the journey of parenting. Many of us become overwhelmed and ungrounded as we navigate the incredible joy, confusion, excitement, heartbreak, uncertainty, wonder, anxiety, isolation, and empowerment that comes with mothering, but this guide will act as a life jacket for you as you make your way.

Kate Kripke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) in the state of Colorado. She has had the privilege of working with individuals and groups in periods of transition and change for more than 20 years. She is the Founding Director and Senior Supervising Psychotherapist of the Postpartum Wellness Center of Boulder, an organization I created in 2007 to bring skilled and appropriate perinatal mental health support to women and families around Boulder County.

Outside of her work at the PWCB, Kate brings expertise in maternal mental health and wellness to the larger community through coaching and consulting.
